John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

High10 Media Challenge

High10 Media set out to leverage our ongoing work with The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, building on the relationships we had developed in the media to raise awareness for the month long roster of activity scheduled. The Lennon Bus made stops at schools across New York City, working with a new Lennon Bus curriculum titled, Come Together, developed in association with ed-tech start-up Nearpod,

Come Together

Yoko Ono had announced the return to New York City of The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus (Lennon Bus), a state-of-the-art mobile production facility that provides hands-on creative experiences to students of all ages. The Lennon Bus visited New York City for the launch of its fifth annual Come Together NYC residency. In keeping with the theme of “activism”, the event kicked off from the steps of New York’s City Hall with a “Bed-In” featuring Ringo Starr, Jeff Bridges, iconic rock photographer Henry Diltz, Mayor Bill DeBlasio, and Speaker of the NYC Council Corey Johnson. The group came together to inspire student activism in honor of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s legendary non-violent protests in support of world peace.
